It's off the beaten path, but totally worth the drive. Great selection. A cool place to browse if you love books. Not too much to be overwhelming. Lots of good books for kids and YA, too.

If you miss the bookstores of your younger days, then this is the place to go! It's even in the neighborhood! The outside reminds me of the quaint bookstores you might run across in Europe. Once inside, it's as if you've walked into someone's home. It reminds me of my home!!!! Books in various sized bookcases, books on top of furniture, soft chairs in corners where you can comfortably sit and read. A wonderful place you can spend hours in surrounded books. Please try them out. They will even accept some favorites of yours you want to pass along.

I drove to Undercover Books today to donate books to this newish used book store on the south side. When I walked in the door…it was MAGIC! It’s HUGE, full of books of every kind, curated so intentionally, and organized beautifully. It felt wonderful looking around and browsing. A cozy nook with fireplace and sections just for specific authors or themes. A HUGE kids section with bean bags and games. I can’t wait to go back again, and again.
